KAOS is the University of Canterbury's very own espionage themed, semi-secret society. Established in 1981 we're still very much here and very naughty indeed. We have been accused of plotting world domination and wearing too much black clothing. These rumours are only partially true. "What...", you may ask "...do we do?" What indeed...
- KAOS Agents hunt each other around campus with small toy guns, cameras and various other implements. Such "rounds" are a test of an Agent's skill, cunning and imagination. Style and humour will be rewarded with fame ephemeral.

- In parks, in rivers, sometimes even in the sea, KAOS Agents battle in spectacular fashion using soft toy weapons and (sometimes) elaborate costumes and props. We fight the enemies of KAOS or friends of KAOS or each other. The prize is glory.
- When inspiration strikes us we stage stunts to amuse and confuse the general public. Together we strive to make campus life just a little more surreal.
KAOS is a social club and we meet and talk and plan in KAOS Corner. We throw parties, with the usual drinking and dancing one might expect from student parties. We don't actually drink blood or rum and gunpowder. It is all a lot of fun.
We are KAOS. Fear not, the notion that our shadows are poisonous is merely a fable. Join us.
